OBD and RM in Standalone Version

In OpenBridge Designer Connect Edition, it’s possible to run RM Bridge in a completely standalone version. In this way, during the analysis, the User is now able to run several different inputs *.tcl files and/or use the batch mode run.

The project folder will not be saved in the OBD database and RM Bridge project directory will remain as an external folder, same workflow as RM Bridge standalone product.

Some steps are necessary to be performed:

    1. OBD > File > Settings

In OBD go to File>Settings and choose the option Settings2.

    2. Shortcut for RM

Create a shortcut for RM, considering the program location:

    C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Designer CE XX.XX.XX\RMBridge\rme\rme.exe

    3. Open RM Bridge

With OBD opened for licensing activation purpose, the User can immediately start RM Bridge and work in a completely standalone program version.

    4. Direct Access

In the project directory and by double clicking in any *.rm9 file, RM Bridge will be launched automatically and the User will be able to continue the bridge project design.
