The second Demo example presented is a Two-span Composite Bridge Steel Concrete according to Petersen: Stahlbau, Vieweg Verlag (1988).

This example demonstrates:

• the simple calculation of a steel and concrete composite beam
• the good agreement with verified results.

The bridge is built using continuous shoring. Therefore, there are no additional internal forces. The two loading cases (self-weight and vertical settlement of the central support) and creep active are the permanent loads.
