    Network Arch Bridge

As seen in the screenshots below, the Network Arch Bridge has the characteristics of numerous inclined hangers and usually a much more slender and a little lower arch due to its efficiency in load distributions. Multiple possible solutions exist to model structures in RM Bridge inside OpenBridge Designer.

One quite accurate structural model for this bridge type generally requires users to have separated different structures: the arches, the girders, the deck, and the transversal beams. In this case, it could be geometrically more accurate to create three different Axes, as shown in the plan view screenshot below. Because the arches are more important and their elevation is a reference that needs to be controlled during fabrication, erection, construction and thru the life cycle of the bridge it is useful to define it directly, and not only thru variables. Another independent axis is defined for the extreme girders, and then, using multiple cross-sections instead of a single one, the deck, and the transversal beams are assigned to Cross-Memebers.
