OpenBridge Designer is not opening.

PROBLEM:  OpenBridge Designer (OBD) is not opening.  OBD splash screen opens but the application does not launch.

RESOLUTION:  To resolve the issue follow below steps:

  • please open File Explorer and open %userprofile%\AppData\Local\ folder:

  • Delete Bentley_Systems,_Incorpor folder.

  • Launch OBD again.

"Following folder "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Bentley_Systems,_Incorpor" had some issues.  We deleted the folder and then we were able to open the program.
