OBM: Tapered or Variable Cap

OpenBridge Modeler has many very functional options in the Substructure Template, specifically for the bent Cap, we currently have four possibilities to model it directly from the Library:

1. Tapered: the tapers of the pier cap are narrowing at its ends;
2. Rectangle: a simple default transversal support beam;
3. Inverted T: a traditional inverted tee beam section;
4. Variable: a more detailed changing shape accomplished by adding constraints with specific rules like linear, parabolic, and circular.

Tips: 

• Access the options to modify the elements in Properties\Substructure Template or at the Utilities\Library\Piers Top Ribbon Menu
• Copy a current similar element and always Save the new element in the Library with a different name to be able to access them
• When zero values are not accepted as input, use a small value, like 0.01 (see the screenshots below)
