In the case the user wants to create a fictitious deck it is possible to input a very small deck thickness ~1in to 3in and assign the material to NONE in the highlighted area as shown in the image below.
TIP: do NOT use 0, as it's a numerical problem for the program, use the almost "0" strategy and make it null input by the materials.
