QUESTION: Is the program considering the Sacrificial wearing surface in the Internal calculation?

ANSWER:

Deck thickness entered in deck slab dialog is used for DL calculations. And when a sacrificial thickness is also entered in that dialog, (Deck thickness - sacrificial thickness) is used as structural thickness of the deck (considering top 2” of the deck will be worn out and won’t be effective). In the section properties report, users can see that (Deck thickness - Sacrificial thickness) is used for section properties and structural stiffness.
