Payload errors are often download-related. They usually happen when some components may not have been downloaded correctly, or it might be the case that some parts are actually missing.
Therefore, there are two suggestions to clear files and folders before trying to reinstall:
- Windows temp
- C:\ProgramData\BentleySetups
Restart the computer and try to install it again. Trying to download it again is also worthed.
If the user continues having issues with downloading and installing, it might be worth creating a deployment Image so all components are downloaded and then installed. We then suggest creating a payload to install according to the instructions in the link below.
