I know this is late, but if you weren't aware, the Mid Continent MicroStation Community is hosting their annual conference in the Kansas City suburbs, and there is a dedicated BIM track.
The track includes sessions around AECOSim Building Designer, Workspace setup, AECOSim Energy Simulation, Visualization, and other topics.
Other tracks include MicroStation, Civil, ProjectWise, Plotting, Management, Potpourri, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
