This course teaches getting started with AECOsim Building Designer, by creating a new project folder, a new design model file, a project structural grid, and a simple concrete frame model, using columns and slabs. In addition, it reviews the overall structure of a BIM model and how intelligence is applied to the model.

QuickStart for Architects Modeling a Building Shell Using AECOsim Building Designer

This course teaches modeling tools for placing walls, a sloped roof, doors, curtainwall, windows, stairs and elevators. In this course, you will create the exterior shell, as well as the interior core for one floor of the building and then use the power of reference files to make a full building core model.

This course contains information on creating a drawing composition model for the purpose of creating architectural drawings. Once the drawing composition model is created you will create a floor plan and a building section.
