Jeff, I know you can't promise anything - but is it still so that ABD will just be weeks after platform release Vancouver?
So we will have a new version of ABD say perhaps Q2/Q3?

In regards to Vancover, we are hoping to trail our ABD Vancouver (64-bit) release to be around six months after the MicroStation Vancouver release. We have just begun our transition to Vancouver and it is still a little too early to provide any definitive timelines
Pretty long wait then.
But thanks for prompt answer!

In communities.bentley.com/.../93634.aspx ETA for Mstn 64bit / Vancouver Beta? Chtis Bober says "we're currently planning to post it (Mstn 64bit) later this quarter along with a complete list of new capabilities". Having got the Mstn platform sorted, will it then be possible to say what ABD 64bit capabilities will be, sooner rather than later?

Yes, 6 months sound like long time, but from what I know about next version of MicroStation (which is not too much, so it's my personal guess only), it's not very surprising: It's not only about movement to 64bit, but the next MicroStation version will introduce the biggest changes in API from ... hmmm .... at least from V8 XM Edition, from another perspective may be even from V8.0.
So what does it mean for every application and their developers?
Everything together .... huuuge effort is required, not only for ABD. It will be interesting to see how quickly also other complex applications like Bentley Map or civil products will be released.

Agreed and accepted.
But we desperately need a refresh of Aecosim soon. Any idea when the next release is planned? I remember someone posting that late 2013 was planned - which obviously didn't work out.
