Hi
I was wondering if Openbuildings Designer needs a Add on download to be able to input vehicle swept paths. if so could someone please inform me how to do so. I have found one call MSTurn but don't know if this is with Opensbuldings Design as it only says MicroStation.
Look forward to the feedback
Jack
I use MS Turn with my Open Building Designer with no issues as it is a separate mdl application that sits outside MicroStation or OBD
Hope that helps
Ian
currently using OBD 10.10.01.151
That's good news, how do I get this application, where could I find it?

Enjoy!
I have done the download and have restarted my pc, I was just wondering how do I get hold of the tools with OBD
finding it hard to locate within the software

If you check your Windows start button you should see recently added and MSTurn 2 should be there or it may have placed itself alphabetically so go down to M and then find MSTurn 2.
If you press the arrow on the right hand side you will see two options for this program one is access to the help file and the second is the application itself.
When you are in OBD just press the MSTurn 2 application through the Windows start button and it will run on top of OBD.
MSTurn 2 does not install itself in the Bentley MDLApp directories
Hope that is clear
Ian,
Thank you very much, got it to work now trying to get my head around certain elements but do have one more question, how do you add certain vehicles into the software
Have a read on the help file, which is one of the two files located as mentioned in the previous answer or access it under Help within the title bar of the program.
Too add a new vehicle press the green + sign give it a name and fill in all the data required, remember to save data and the program saves it to ...\Documents\MSTurn\VehicleLibraries\DefaultVehicleData.xml
Ian,Thanks for this information.I am having a problem when I select 'Select Path' in MS Turn 2, an error comes up saying 'MicroStation is not running! Start MicroStation and try again'. But OBD is running and open as a separate window. Do you have any suggestions as to why it's not finding an instance of MicroStation? I do have OBD CONNECT, could this be the issue? Many thanks,Tim
I'm using it with Connect, so that is not a problem.
Maybe try opening OBD first and the MS Turn second. And keep only one OBD open. Just some thoughs you might want to try...
