Bentley speedikon V8i (SELECTseries 5), Update 4 (v08.11.12.38)

The latest Speedikon version is OpenBuildings Speedikon CONNECT Edition that is fully supported.

Bentley speedikon V8i (SELECTseries 5), Update 4 (v08.11.12.38) is available for speedikon Architectural and speedikon Industrial in English and German language.
 
Speedikon Architectural English includes six regional datasets – Neutral Metric, United Kingdom, United States (Imperial & Metric), France and Netherlands. Speedikon Industrial English includes two regional datasets - Neutral Metric and Netherlands. Speedikon Architectural and Industrial German include two regional datasets – Germany and Switzerland.

To run this version, you need an installation of MicroStation V8i. On request to the support via a service request, we can only provide you with the version MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 10 (version 08.11.09.931). This version uses the SES licensing. Further information can be found here.

What's New Highlights (v08.11.12.38)

MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 10) certification
Speedikon 08.11.12.38 is additionally certified on MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 10) or MicroStation PowerDraft V8i (SELECTseries 10) in English or German. The recommended version is 08.11.09.931. The V8i (SELECTseries 10) versions use the current SES (Subscription Entitlement Service) licensing.

Note: Drawing filter-controlled MicroStation hatchings are not displayed when using MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 10). If speedikon 08.11.12.38 is to be used together with MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 10), the following adjustments must be made in the system\bin installation directory to ensure correct display of hatching: The file design.dll must be renamed to designMstnSs4.dll. The file designMstnSs2-3.dll has to be renamed to design.dll. This requires appropriate permissions.

ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Update 3.4
This build is certified on the new ProjectWise version:

Automatic column cut-outs
Optimized creation of automatic column openings in slab elements. Even if only a partial surface of the column intersects the slab element, a correct opening is created.

Import Perforators optimized
Round horizontal Perforators in walls and beams create a correct opening in all situations, including partial surfaces.

Additional labeling attributes
New attributes have been added to labels for:
• Wall openings
• Beam openings
• disconnected perforator openings

Room assignment of doors
Using a new user attribute, a door opening outwards from the room can be assigned to the internal room and the floor of this room fills the door reveal.

Transform with zero to update floor plans
After editing walls, openings and columns in the ProjectEditor, the transformation of all changed floor plans with zero enables a correct quantity take-off and a correct export of dgn files with export.dat without opening and saving the floor plans individually.
