What’s New in OpenBuildings Designer Update 10 – Part 2.

The OpenBuildings product team is pleased to announce the availability of OpenBuildings Designer CONNECT Edition, Update 10.

Three main themes governed the development work for update 10:

Advancing BIM productivity
Building the foundation for a real-world Digital Twin
Leveraging platform technology updates

In part 2 of this Coffee Corner series, we will take a deeper dive into the new features, enhancements and workflows introduced in update 10. Topics will include:

Workflows using the program manager design options
Working with legacy slabs and the new compound slab assembly and compound slab leaf
Mechanical modeling enhancements
Structural rules enhancements
Platform enhancements
Follow-up questions from the Part 1 session in December

We'll also give an overview of the updates for architectural, structural, mechanical, Energy Simulator and GenerativeComponents.
