In this session, we will discuss using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in OpenBuildings Designer. We will explain what VBA is, why it's helpful to learn, when it should be used, and how it is used.

Following that, we will explore the tools and resources available to empower users to modify and personalize OpenBuildings Designer to meet individual needs. We will demonstrate how to create some VBA code and compare the methods of running a macro from a VBA project.
