drawing rules

I am working on drawing extraction since 6 month , I discovered that when you setup any rule then any modification on the model property the result will be disaster like ( the annotation will get back to its original place, disappear some times , duplicates ) any suggestion

  • I assume you are talking about Door and Window Numbers?
    If so...
I stopped using that function and create my symbols and numbers manually. A Lot quicker even on tough projects as the numbers are NOT 2-way linked either so no real benefit.
Any changes I make are quicker to do manually.

  • Must agree
Allegedly these are used with some success in Structural, but in many years of Architectural work have never seen them used. I would avoid using them. It's a well intioned move by Bentley, but it's a case of barking up the wrong tree here. This sort of 'feature' really isn't a priority at this stage. There are many better, more fruitful things to be spending your time doing/using
