update ceiling and flooring

Using the "Update Spaces" will allow you to update the spaces and in the "Place Ceiling" tool you can "Match/Modify" a ceiling. Since both are different elements and were placed by different tools/commands you can't update both at the same time by using just the Update Space, as far as I can tell. I think that is your question?

Is this a possibility for the future. this would evolve into linkage from one element to another across a plan for example.

And I don't know if other programs have it right or not.
But another competitor has floors linked to the grids and walls linked to floors top and or bottom.
So if a change to the grid the floors and walls change.
So things like changing the location of a wall should effect the space
So changing spaces should link and change the ceiling grid
So changing the grid should change the location of mechanical and electrical items that are tied to the grid or tied to the height.
Kind of like the way we place toilets that should move with a wall.

I would think that ANYTHING that increases productivity of the final 2d drawings is Paramount and 2nd to that anything that improves and speeds production of the 3d model is secondly paramount.

This does not help as it is still stick building and re-building
