I mean having a stair tool and suggesting you model the landing separately as you just did is typical of cope-out style answers. It is not possible yet to add a finish on top of the landing, like you can do it for steps. The Constraints were suggested by me because I thought you had the landing created separately.

The workaround would be creating the landing and stairs separately. Landing could be 2 different types of slabs (i.e. concrete and finish). However, we are enhancing the stair tool for future releases of AECOsim.

HTH

RE: Stair Landing

Is this your way of saying "I don't know"?
If you do know, then you will happily explain WHERE in the Constraints you control the location of the structural level of the landing in relation to the finished level of the tread...

RE: Stair Landing

Hi Chris,

The stairs can be controlled by Constraints, I would suggest to define a New Constraints Control for the Stairs.
