Element information doesn't display datagroup properties

I just tried adding instance data to a free form and the properties I added did show up in Element Information.

Free forms don't have DataGroup properties of their own. I'm assuming you've added properties to yours that you're not seeing. What method did you use to add them?

These are elements placed using the datagroup tools, so the information is already added. ie place wall, place slab etc. The one shown is a ceiling using the datagroup 'Place Slab' tool. 

The clip below is the same element but in SS5, my screen isn't deep enough to show everything but you get the gist

I tried placing a couple of walls and slabs in Ss5 and then opened them in Ss6 and all the properties were all there in Element Information.

Can you please post a dgn file with those elements in it?

Same here - my Ss5 elements read the same in Ss6.

One thing I did notice, however, is that you're also missing the Quantification panel for that Free Form. If you right-click in the Element Info dialog and choose Show/Hide, is there any chance that some of the panels are hidden?

It appears I have been picking up the wrong dataset (ss5 being referenced instead of ss6).

I had added the ss6 Dataset_GB to my standard workspace as Dataset_GB_SS6 and had attempted to get ss6 to pick this up instead of the original ss5 Dataset_GB, whilst using the existing standards cfg. However this seems to have defaulted back to using the ss5 dataset.

Does SS6 have a specifiv (_Version_8_11_9_807) number or is this shared with SS5 ie (_Version_8_11) ?

What do TF_DATASETS and TF_DATASETNAME resolve to? These give you the path and dataset name.

The commercial release of Ss5 was build 08.11.09.747.

The EAP release of Ss6 was build 08.11.09.807 and the commercial release of Ss6 will be 08.11.09.(some number larger than 807).

I am using SS5 version 08.11.09.758
TF_Datasets location is the same for each. ss5 and ss6

Currently I have defined the following lines in my standards file:

TF_DATASETNAME = Dataset_GB
%endif

%if defined (_VERSION_8_11_9_807)
TF_DATASETNAME = Dataset_GB_SS6
%endif

With this set SS6 picks up the correct dataset folder and works. However, SS5 is unable to resolve the (_VERSION_8_11_9_758) statement and does not start.

If I edit the initial line to state (_VERSION_8_11), SS5 is able to resolve this and loads correctly. However this for some reason means that SS6 also loads the SS5 Dataset_GB

What if you used the following configuration to address both scenarios?
