I have a rotated ACS, using the story manager. When I place 'spaces' the automated annotation cell is not aligned with either my ACS rotation or view rotation.
This issue has not been dealt with. How do you rotate the space label from the default horizontal position to a vertical position in order to read the label against a vertical wall in, say, the front view?
The space label appears to be always horizontal and readable only in the top view irrespective of whether the annotation is meant for a vertical wall or a horizontal floor. The functionality must be available to rotate the space label to align with view.
Ben, you can set the variable:
BB_DG_ANNOTATION_HONORS_ACS = 1
–– Controls alignement of Automated Annotations created by theDrawing Rules within a Drawing• If ‘1’, automatic annotations honor active ACS of Drawing Model• If ’0’ or ‘undefined’ (default), automatic annotations will align withthe global coordinate system of the Drawing Model–– When a new Drawing is created, the ACS aligns with coordinatesystem of model. To align with a new ACS, follow these steps:• Set BB_DG_ANNOTATION_HONORS_ACS = 1 for the project• Redefine the active ACS in Drawing. The best practice is to leveragethe ‘Floor Selector’ to manage the ACS• Save Settings (CTRL+F) and select ‘Refresh Automatic Annotations’tool to refresh annotations to align with the new ACS.
Ben, did the steps that Mark outlined work for you?
Thanks for your support. Unfortunately, I do not know where to find and set the variable below: -

Ben,
In CONNECT Edition go to File - Settings - Configuration - Configuration Variables
In V8i go to Workspace - Configuration
