Installing SS6 on Windows 10

Hello

Have now got Windows 10 up and running on my laptop (For the record a Macbook Pro 17' late 2011, i7 at 2.4Ghz, 8 Gb RAM)

Initial impressions are favourable. Quite 'crisp' and clean.

WATCH OUT, if you want to do a clean install, you MUST upgrade Win7/8 to Win 10 first, so that Win 10 can 'register' that you have upgraded that PC/motherboard to Win 10. Then apparantly it's good to wait a day or so before you do a full clean install.

A slight workaround is that you can choose to 'keep' nothing, when you upgrade. Which is not quite a full clean install, but I'd much prefer to wipe as much as possible then re-install all the apps.

Anyway, .... haven't actually done much, just ran through all the settings (watch out for the one which allows Microsoft to use YOUR internet connection to upgrade othe PCs!!!!!!!!)

But, it generally feels responsive and 'nippy'. Pleasingly there was a Win 10 driver upgrade for the ATI 6770 graphics card

So, ..... am now going to install ABD SS6.

Will normally temporarily turn OFF User Account control, and run the Desktop Pre-requisites.

Are these pre-requisites still valid? As they are normally Win7/8 software?

I'm assuming is some of them aren't used/valid, then Win 10 would not install them, or put them 'to the side' so to speak.

Anything particular I shoud do/not do?
