AECOsim SS6: Beams and Columns doesn't conserve the value of properties

Question

Hi, 
 In all the versions of AECOsim, there is a strange workflow to modify structural elements, It has no sense. 
 In architecture tools, like walls and slabs, it is possible to change the element type, and It is possible to decide which values of the datagroup properties will conserve, change or erase. In Structural tools, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. It has no sense. 
 I attach a video to explain it, in a little sample. Please, watch the video, thinking this problem applyed in projects with a lot of structural elements, with a lot of specific values added to datagroup: phasing, axis position, etc.. I repeat it: the actual workflow to change structural elements has no sense.

There is something we're working on for ABD Connect to make modification more consistent that might solve this problem. If it's OK with you, once we have it running I may ask you to take a look at it and see if it meets your needs.
