Windows Head height

Question

This has been aggregating me for a long time...Why don't we have a head height setting when placing a window. Windows of different heights are usually aligned by the head height so I keep having to adjust the sill height to compensate for the difference. I seem more logical to have a head height setting then a sill height setting...or least give us both similar to Revit.

I would just add to Gerards reply that you must also select one of the placement points (red dots) on the head of the window. This will then apply the sill/head offset distance. rgds Brenden

Hi GaryM, I believe this is what your are referring to in AECOsim Building Designer in SS6: 
 
 But you will like to have the Sill and Head Height as separate options? if so this will have to be filed as an Enhancement but first a service request should be filed, once you file the SR you can notify me and I will process this enhancement for you.

Would you believe that I never noticed that there were red dots at the head of the window too! Thanks for pointing that out...I'm baffled that I had not noticed these before and no one in our office had either...how long have they been there? Now I know!
