In AECOsim Help menu you will find all the steps necessary to create your own symbol(s), make sure you search for Symbol Manager Electrical Application, it will show you how to create a new symbol using the Symbol Manager tool. Also you may want to take a look at some WIKIs related to this subject, here is one of them:

Hi Gerard,

Thanks for your help. As per your guideline now I am able to place electrical fixtures/symbols into my AECOsim model. But still I am not able to customize these predefined symbols, i.e. as per client requirement often we need to create such symbols which are not present in default library. So precisely I want to add my own symbol into the dataset otherwise I can not able to proceed real time building modeling.

Hi Sujan,

First make sure that Electrical is loaded in AECOsim then register the file. Then under Electrical Modeling Select place Symbol, select the symbol and place in the model.
