Spaces / height level

Question

Is there any possibility to get the height level of an architectural space listed in the DataGroup Explorer? 
 I'm no architect, but I am using spaces for groundwork / excavations, and would like to have the height listed.

Hi Andreas, There is a way if you have access to MicroStation CONNECT Edition. The Range Low value for the space includes the z height, this can be exported to Excel along with other properties. From ABD publish the model as an I-model (.i.dgn), open this in MicroStation CONNECT. Open Explorer, in the File panel, navigate down the tree to Models >Design Model > Elements Highlight the spaces, right-click, pick details. In the details list right-click and export to Excel. The columns listed in the detail dialog can be selected, I right-clicked > Show Columns > More... > Clear All > select the columns I wanted. You can also use Ctrl + A in the details dialog which will select all the content then copy and paste into Excel. This could be quicker as the export formats the Range Low cell as: but copy/paste formats it as 55186.87mm,60308.59mm,2000.00mm or 80.24m,80.75m,2.00m if Master Unit is set to m You don't get the column headings with the copy/paste method.
