Delete wall causes others to disappear

Question

AECOsim Building Designer Version 08.11.09.863 SS6 
 When I delete a newly created wall, other unconnected walls are also deleted. There does not seem to be any connection between these created geometries. 
 I'm very worried because I don't understand what is causing this or how to fix it. I have tried to start a new file and copy the geometry from the old file into the new, the weird connection between walls is still there. Help?

I'm not aware of this as a known issue. 
 When walls are placed with Relationship lock on (the recommended setting) the connections between them will be stored and maintained so a wall can be moved and other walls connected to it will follow it as appropriate. This is unaffected by Graphic Group. 
 Compound Walls use Graphic Group to maintain aspects of the relationships between the wall leaves. Graphic Group can be turned off to allow manipulation/modification of the individual leaves but it is not involved in the connections between sections of wall. 
 A number of walls can be selected, then added to a Graphic Group (see MicroStation - Grouping Part 1 for more on that topic). If that was done, deleting one wall (with Graphic Group lock on) would delete all walls.
