TBH MJAN I have never used an RFA content but I would like to know, are these forms parametric in nature? if you eventually import them into ABD using the interpreter wizard, can I resize the properties i.e with , height etc to fit my structural opening stated above?

for simplicity you can use a very simple door, if you need the threshold just add it in PCS.

Yes, parametric information is available when using the RFA Interpreter.

But when I went to that in the National Library I could not find an RFA to work for me either.
The Whole discussion somewhat is the detail wanted.
If for a plan only the door tool works fine
I get blasted as I create elevation from my model but it appears I am alone
So if using it to create elevations too them either a RFA or a mod to one model
For this case I can make the PCS mod rather easily.
It is getting that NEW cell into some crappy DG system where I can use it is the problem

The site MJAN referred to seems to have the right type of components, so I'm assuming they have the desired parametrics (not sure why they didn't work for Eric). However, in order to use them in RFA format you will need at least ABD Ss5.

The same site also offers them in IFC format, so if parametrics are not a requirement that may also be a good option.

The alternative of course is to create something like this using either PC Studio or Parametric Frame Builder for parametric versions or Compound Cells for non-parametric versions. Though I would first try the above since it could save you some time.
