Hi,
It's my first time I use a floor drain part from Plumbing Tools.
I supposed that a floor drain would cut it's opening in the floor, like a door or window in a wall, but it don't.
Do I have to cut the opening in the floor separately for each drain?

Christian

Hi Marc,
Thank you for your information. It helps me to clarify the handling of drains.
I think drains should have its own perforators.
Therefore I have filed SR 7000530630 to ask for a Change Request.

Isn't that only just a small bit of what is needed?
First -we want perforators to ALL MEP and Electrical items with geometry. Ducts, pipes, raceways etc.
Second -we need free zones for operating valves, handling of wires on race ways etc.
Third -In Architecture and Structural we need tools to use the perforators to our forms without having them degenerated.
Fourth - we need tools to log all penetrations (project wide) and flagging of changes the original owner (MEP E etc) has done.
Fifth - I guess this hooks in to collision programs as well.
Sixth - make it work from/to other programs - .dwg and .ifc
In a way we already have this: A places a door in a concrete wall - I assume S can use the doors penetrator in As file if both uses Bentley?
Last - I am with Danny in this.
