AECOsim Building Designer Trial version

It is not easy for someone looking to download a trial version of AECOsim Building Designer. But it is easy to get lost in the library of Bentley softwares offered on their website that is of no interest to me. I have been trying for many days now but the I have no access to the fulfilment centre. I get the following message.

"Sorry, you do not have access to Fulfillment Center application. You do not have the “Product Delivery – Download” user role. Please contact your site administrator to request this user role"

Perhaps Bentley sales and marketing is not interested in promoting AECOsim Building Designer. Getting a trial version should be a simple process but It is disappointing and seems like a waste of time.

  • Hi Bipin,
It sounds as though your login credentials were set up by your local site administrator to not include download permissions, but why I cannot say. This isn't something that Bentley directly controls.

  • Really You shouldn't need any 'permissions' to download a trial version of ASECOSim.
Have just spent 5 mins browsing the Bentley web site and cannot find anywhere where I can download a trial version of AECOSim.

Also noticed that the trial version of Microstation is now only valid for 14 days.
Realistically that is nowhere near long enough to evaluate this software.
Most people won't have even managed to get it set up in 14 days
(Footnote: I've been trying to get Miccrostation properly set up for over 15 years, ........ and still haven't been successful!)
