How to register a file on Projectwise as Electrical Design File?

Hi there, 
 I want to register a design model on projectwise to be an electrical design file. 
 Usually when I have to use AECOsim Electrical, I open as an Administrator but when we have to open a file from Projectwise, I don't know if I can register that file to be Electrical Design file. 
 Any help will be appreciated.

This can be done. When you initialize PW, and the program places you in a data source, path to the drawing you want to save as a n Electrical file. When you find that file double click on it, so it will open up in ABD. Go through the regular process of registering that file as an electrical file, ex, load electrical, let the data base open up and the register the file normally., but if the program won’t let you proceed, or fi your file is read only here is what you must do to get around that. When you try to register the file, PW will say that there is a file in the directory already with that name, try changing the file mane then trey again. In the “Save as dialog” change the file mane, it will save in the sane directory, and it will remove the save as manicure from the drawing, and then you will be able to register the file in the normal designed way.
