Hello!
Basically I am Revit user, From the past 4 moths using Aecosim Building designer. Now changed to connect edition. Really working great & many advantages to BIM engineers.
Here there are very few objects or Components available like furniture (Bed, Sofa). In Revit, By default there are lots of libraries available and also site name called revitcity- there also we can download many types of objects.
I dont know may be there is option to download the object, if yes please let me know. And i know that we can import RFA file to ABD con edt. I want to know while install the product itself, the files to be saved in that exact location.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
In the UK there’s the NBS National BIM Library
They have a dedicated AECOsim lib with all the datagroup files.
Cheers

Hi Akbar,
I would suggest downloading an RFA or two and working with the File > Import > 3D Modeling File Types > Import RFA to Catalog tool. The process also includes the option to save to either the Workspace, Workset or Organization folder structure, and should help to better understand the process of mapping RFA properties to ABD's native DataGroup properties. Once that process is complete, the "converted" RFA can then be placed thru the available component placement tools as though it were delivered with the application.
Thanks Mr. Steve!
