I am using ABD SS6 and "publishdgn publish references off" is not working... is there any variable needs to set to make it enable.... please let me know
after entering key in and hitting the enter it says "invalid argument specified for keyin".....

Does it work if you remove the space between "publish" and "references"; i.e., "publishdgn publishreferences off"?
Hmmm... perhaps you do need to turn off the display of the reference attachment after all.
