Hi all
I'm creating a number of elevations however after creating them and placing them on the sheet I now need to adjust the extents of them slightly. Unfortuantely, every time I try to do this, the clip region snaps back to it's previous position. The weird thing is it's only some of the elevations that are doing it. Any thoughts as to what it might be? ACS snaps are off.
My work flow is elevations being created in a federated model that has all the 3D models referenced in --> model extractions export out as individual model files --> model extractions referenced into sheet file. Not sure if this makes any difference but thought I better mention it.
I'm using Aecosim V8i SelectSeries 6
Cheers
Rob
Hi Rob,
Yes this is an odd one, what is the version number of the product? Help > About AECOsim Building Designer.
Gerard, I have also experienced this exact problem in the last couple of weeks. I would adjust the clip to be just as I wanted then all of a sudden it would hop back to the original. In the end (and after a lot of swearing) I locked the elevation in the federated model and that at least stopped the problem although it is not a good solution.
I'm using SS6 Version 01.11.09.868. I could probably demonstrate this in real time if you would like to contact me.
Hi Gerard,
Version is 08.11.09.866.
I can supply the file through the Bentley public ftp if you like, I still have the link from a previous service request.
Seem to have found a workaround (recreating the elevations was still creating the issue). When taking the elevation set the view height manually (I used 1m).
