Pipework corrupting in Dynamic Views

When using Dynamic Views in mechanical services, i am getting pipework corruptions where the pipework that has been cut through appears much larger

it seems the only way to avoid the curved lines running through the drawing is to turn off the pipe level leaving just the insulation.

is there a better way to fix this problem or is it just another nail in the dynamic view coffin?
