I have one problem I don't understand when creating new drawings files from a seed:
1. I draw a callout
2. I choose to create a new drawing
3. I ask to create a new file for this drawing and open it.
4. Problem: ABD always says it uses DesignSeed.dgn as a seed file to create the new drawing file but this is not true bacuase I edit this seedfile in order to custom the new drawing files I create and it never Works.
Which one is the seed file, or the configuration variable to point at, ABD uses to create new drawing files? I want to edit it in order to set the right table color and the right units and so on. And this seed file is not DesignSeed.dgn

Designseed.dgn is used when creating new files.
When drawings are created from Callouts, the Create Drawing process uses seed models contained in the drawing seed template. There is a set of DGNLIBs in each dataset, DrawingSeed_<discipline>.dgnlib, that are used by this process. In the CONNECT Edition Neutral Metric dataset for instance, these are located in: "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\AECOsim CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Dataset_NM\Dgnlib\".
In the Create Drawing dialog you have the option to create the resulting Drawing and (if required) Sheet models either in the active file or in separate files. If you create separate files (as is typical) those files will be created from seed files, but the Drawing and Sheet models will be controlled by the Drawing Seed templates.
If you search in Bentley CONNECT Advisor for "Drawing Seed" you should find the training module "Customizing Dynamic Views to Optimize Drawing Production", this includes video and a downloadable workbook explaining how to customize drawing seed templates.

We have one doubt about this. When drawings are created from Callouts, the Create Drawing process uses seed models contained in the drawing seed template in our case MV_DrawingSeed_Architectural.dgnlib.
In the Create Drawing dialog we activate the option to create the resulting Drawing in a separate file but we don't understand where is defined the table color this new created file uses.
In the MV_DrawingSeed_Architectural.dgnlib. we have one custom color table attached and also in seed file AECOSim uses to creates new files, but the result is always a new file with a model inside with a color table we don't want.
