This is not a big issue, since everything works fine, just an esthetic issue :-)
My View Orientation dialog sees to show old icons for some of them (top left and right):
Is this a general thing, or do I need to look for some mistake in a dgnlib (old icon somewhere still enclosed)?
Hi Stefan,
I have AECOsim Building Designer Connect Edition Update 2 and it has all the new Icons (none from older versions). Do you have Update 2?
Can anyone tell me which file ("AECOsim Buidling Designer") this is? (see screenshot).
I should be able to get into this file, since all toolbars below that one seem to be defined inside it, and I can change the icons in that one.
I can tell by the icon name (compared to the other items in the toolbar) it's linked to the wrong icon:
Windows 10 pro
OpenBuildings Designer Connect Edition 2023 | 23.00.00.114
The View Orientation tools do seem to be specific to AECOsim, so perhaps it's best to log a Service Request for this so that support can further investigate and potentially file an Enhancement or Defect, depending how it pans out. View pun semi-intended. ;)
Hi Steve, Ok, I will make a SR, and then wait and see if it's fixed later on :-)
Thanks!
SR nr 7000779554
Thanks, Stefan. It looks like the SR has been picked up and is moving forward.
I got a reply from support:
"In looking at your Communities Forum post and what you describe as View Orientation tools, it looks as though you may have an outdated file in C:\Program Files\Bentley\AECOsim CONNECT Edition\AECOsimBuildingDesigner\Default\Gui\Archive\en\V8iTasks.dgnlib. This is the file where those tools are derived.
Also, be sure to be using a new user preference file, C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Bentley\AECOsimBuildingDesigner\10.0.0\prefs Personal\AECOsimBuildingDesigner.dgnlib"
I would expect the file to be new, since it was generated when installing Connect Edition (and it can't have existed before since these folders in which Connect is installed didn't exist either).
Can anyone send me their V8iTasks.dgnlib to check?
