We made extensive use of the place title function for labeling references in V8i.
This seems to be missing in the CONNECT attach reference dialog.
Hopefully titles with linked references are still possible-- where are they now?
Couldn't find it in the help.
Griffith,
Drawing Title can be found under the Drawing Production - Drawing Annotation - Coded Note pull-down.
\
You should find it if you Search the Ribbon for Title
Larry
Thanks Larry.
That is the old type of title that you fill out manually.
We were using a V8i drawing title that was automatically populated with the name of the view, the link to the paperspace and the scale factor. This linked back to callouts on other pages. You could hover over it and be linked back to the drawing or the model. Hypermodeling, I think you all called it.
Since I wrote the above post, I have come to think the answer I need is related to Drawing Boundaries, but I have not been able to associate my reference to a boundary in a way that creates the links I needed.
Please advise.

We have now been able to create a reference and locate the title that appears. It isn't immediately visible, but we found it eventually. We used to be able to edit the Drawing Identifier by going to its' Properties. These are not now available; what is the current procedure?
Hello Griffith,
You should be able to use Element Selection, hover over the drawing title symbol, right press on the mouse and change the Drawing Identifier in the Properties dialog. The Properties tool is also available in the Common Tools group in the drop down with Building Element Info.
Thanks
thanks Paul--
I tried that earlier and it works, but only occasionally, often it says no properties to display. I am able to proceed, if I try enough, but still puzzled.
I forgot to say select properties from the menu. That's strange that it sometimes shows no properties. When I tested it I created a Saved View in a master model (an isometric with a clip volume applied to try and get a 'cut away' looking drawing) and used the saved view option as the Orientation option in the Reference Attachment Properties.
What orientation option are you using? Just trying to think of how different options might affect the drawing title properties.
Paul-- it is intermittent. Sometimes you can select normally, and the properties are there. Sometimes right press will do it. At other times it says No contents to display.
We create, say, a floor plan in a master model, as a saved view, then create a 2D drawing model in an already existent sheet file. After clipping and masking the 2D model, it is referenced into the Paperspace of the sheet file, where the drawing title is created. Here is where we have the intermittent problem. The titles are edited usually only once, but it is still puzzling, this problem did not occur in SS6
