Is there a component library to download site equipment

It would also be helpful if you could explain which software / version this is in relation to as well as what you are expecting to be in a "component library" and what you mean by "site equipment". Could this be in relation to the BIM Components Centre?

by site equipment I mean park benches, bike racks, play ground equipment, etc...  in conjunction with AECOsim Building Designer

Hi Connie,

There is an option in AECOsim called "Object" to allow to place a lot of different objects, and one of the available categories is "Site Equipment", so the category and a set of generic objects are available by default.

The list of available items have only few items by default, but using the "Catalog Item Manager" tool you can load the complete library provided with the datasets, which have several Bike Racks, Dumpsters, Flag Poles, Bollards, etc...

In addition, you can download additional objects from internet in different geometry formats and add to the library.
