We have a project that was done in Bentley Architecture. The project is now on construction stages and there are some changes that needs to be done on the floor plan. We are now using the extracted 2D floor plans to do the changes. But we can not make any changes to the floor plan because of the message "Triforma has intentionally restricted changes to this element". Is there a way we can make the 2D plan editable? Thanks for any help.

We run it as a batch job.
Create a text file with the key-in commands. Here is the one we use.
---------
choose all tfremove xy=0,0 choose all drop complex xy=0,0 choose all group drop xy=0,0 fit view extended file design
Run the Batch Utility using the text file on a group of files you want to modify.
It's that simple.
Cool, thanks. One last question. How should I handle cells and cell libraries? I noticed that when you set up a batch process, you can specify files and or folders. If you specify a folder, will the batch process run on cell library files stored within the folder? Thanks again for all your help.
Chris
I don't believe the batch processor will prevent you from doing this, but I not sure you want to the run the drop commands on the cell libraries, because technically the elements in the file are not cells until they are placed. Also running the drop commands on compound cells may cause some serious problem with your extractions and future projects. Just wanted to give you a heads up, at least make a backup before you try to do this.

Jeff,
I was actually not planning on dropping the "complex" or "group" characteristics of these elements or cells. I was only interested in removing the Triforma association.
