Is AECOsim a BIM application designed Speedikon? Or is it a whole new animal now?

AECOsim is Bentley's flagship BIM software. It is not a new application by any means, there have been several Versions, latest released version being AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition Update 3.

Speedikon is still available and caters mostly to the German market. Though both are BIM softwares based on Microstation, the workflows are largely different.

We have just released speedikon V8i (SELECTseries 5) Update 4. Please follow the link to find more information about it. speedikon is available in German and English and offers a variety of datasets including US Metric and US Imperial.
