I'm looking at the OpenRiser style stair and go to place it in the model using Top Middle position. Only problem is that the graphics aren't at the placement point and sit mid air until I data on a position to start placement. It would be ice to see the graphics at the placement point.
Interesting... As best I can tell it isn't specific to the OpenRiser style nor to Top Center placement. Any stair using a Top placement point seems to project the cursor straight down to align with the bottom, but as you found only until the first placement point is selected - once you're ready to select a direction the cursor realigns itself. I have no idea why though! Let me see what I can track down for this...
