I pretty much follow the recommended work flow to create drawing views. I don't tick the create Sheet model so I reference the Drawing views into my Sheet. Every now and then I get the Standard Detailing Symbol appear when I am referencing the Drawing view into the Sheet and I don't know how to remove it without creating the section view again.
The left shot is from my Sheet model, Section D and E I believe where created the same way but Section E has the Detailing Marker which I can't remove. The right shows the additional Section marker in the drawing view.
The left shot is after I have removed Section E from the Sheet. The right is Section E drawing view and the Section Marker disappears from section view when it has been removed from the sheet.
I worked it out, when you attach a reference the is a box to create Drawing Title and somehow it became ticked

Ditto... glad you found it! But if I understand your OP correctly, can you not delete the drawing title after the fact and choose "No" at the prompt?

I did not know you could do that. I just kept on hitting Enter, which just deleted the title and the reference.
