Fill Reigons over lines

Hi,

We are having trouble with fills not staying behind CAD lines, even when the priority is set up correctly

eg: view in CAD space vs printing preview below

If we have drawn CAD first and then filled the fills will lay on top (and print this way)

When the fill is put down first and the CAD is drawn on top it will print fine

This is a nightmare when 99% of the time the fills will be after the CAD!

Please help!

  • But with this process you are printing a 3d model in to 2d

    However

you either have one item hidden by the other or both in the same plane.

If in the same plan you could see in your print all or partial or non e of the "X"

You need to follow a process for printing without issues

    Create 3d model

Create SV or DV in Model

Create 2d for Annotations of that Mode and Reference the SV or DV above

    Then Print from that 2d

    For in my office example:
I have lots of models that make up a master model

In this master I create a lot of DVs and SVs

    I then Create 2d sheet for Plan1, plan2, elevation1, etc

I reference the DV into the plan and Annotation

If I did not do it this was but annotated in the 3d - I find the annotations disappear as everything is trying to compete within the single plane and will cause all kids of issues.  Which of your items is the most important if they are all in the same plane

    ____________

    3d model with NO annotation

2d Plans, elevation and sections with DV that are now annotated
