Hi
I read this thread and are trying to do the same, create at pile-schedule:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/f/aecosim-speedikon-forum/162985/aecosim-pile-schedule
I try to follow the video posted as a reply, but the problem is that I can't see the building data group when I'm about to add it as an item type. Why is that?
Robert
Hi Robert,
In the model in which you are trying to generate the report, make sure you have some elements which have some DataGroup Data attached to them. Only then 'Building Data Group' will appear in the list to be included as Item Types.

Hi,
I have elements with datagroup data in my file, but as you can see in the picture below the building data group don't show any way.

Sure, here it is.
I opened the file using Dataset_SE and I could see BuildingDataGroup under the Item Types list.
Are you facing the issue using any of the delivered Dataset?
I tried that myself (to open with the aecosim example workspace and dataset_se workset) and it worked for me too.
I've created my own workspace and workset, which was first a copy of the dataset_se, so now my question is, what could effect this, and make the building data group disappear? Any config. variable, or something else?
There should be a buildingdatagroup...xml in your works at standard/settings folder. Size approx. 6mb. If not, check your config vars pointing to that folder. Or if it's size is less than 2mb delete it and restart and

Thanks, it seems there was something wrong with my config. variable for the standrads folder.
