duct branch not displaying
cached file centrelines change to ls=2
I think I am finally getting there with dynamic views using Aecosim SS6 but there are still some problems:
A) Ductwork branches and square to round fittings are not displaying in some files
B) I am having the cache the dynamic view model in order to plot it to a reasonable size. When I do this the symbolisation of ductwork centrelines goes from ls=4 to ls=2
Is there any project configuration adjustments that would help with either of these problems or any other suggestions
Hi David,
For the first item, can you attach a screen capture showing what that fitting looks like in the 3D Model? I can see that there's something missing in the drawing, but what that is in relation to the other components is unclear. Also, are you using any Mechanical drawing rules that could be a factor?
For the second item, are you saying that the centerlines are changing line style?

Thanks for your reply, branch fittings shown highlighted are not displaying
I know they can display in DV's because I have a drawing where that is the case but I cannot work out why in this file they are not.

ive just noticed that cthe presentation view attributes are demoted, the fitting displays correctly
the problem is that if I do that the saved view doesn't get updated into the dv model
Do you have any Mechanical rules included in the drawing? If so, do any apply only to those specific fittings?
