Further strange behaviour in U4
Today I wanted simply to switch of some displayed levels on the screen, so using the level display chose a level with no elements on it and then scrolled down the list of used levels to switch them off, but only about half of then switch off the remained remain highlighted blue (as usual), so individually select the levels shown as being displayed for them to switch off in the level display dialog but do not switch off on the screen.
So I had the situation that the level display list told me I had no used levels being displayed but the view window is displaying roughly half the levels.
Tried this on my second monitor screen and the same result.
Problem went away when I opened another drawing file and then went back to the first drawing
Anybody else had this strange behaviour?
Ian
Hi Ian,
Have you considered a computer exorcist? ;-)
It's impossible to say whether it could be related to the first U4 oddity, but the fact that both were temporary and switching files seems to have helped, I have to wonder if the cache is somehow involved. Have you experienced any other odd behaviors outside of AECOsim?
Steve _ I have the same issues on a few files - for me they are files that were originally DWG and appears to be related to the Freeze and Global controls. We coudl not get those items fixed even after making the files dgn.
Some files worked by looking at those two controls for example making all Global on but not always
For use some files would not allow us to make levels "Global on" they would stay grayed out no matter what we did

Since I haven't seen this behavior myself, even when investigating user files, I personally don't have much to offer. It almost sounds like a UI/graphics card interaction issue of some kind, but that is only a guess with nothing to back it up.
