Still trying to get some time to work through this one, but I have a couple of custom linestyle libraries that I used for detailing rebar that, for some reason, prevent me from opening AC files. No warning, nothing. Take the files out of the build and all works fine.
Before I pull them to pieces, has anyone come across this sort of thing before?

The workflow is not really clear.
You are not being able to open the DWG file in AECOsim because there are some custom linestyle elements there? Are you able to open the file without them?
Stranger than that, the DWG files don't have the custom linestyle in them, the files is just in the build. If I take the linestyle library out, then I can open the DWG files. Simply having it in the build paths prevents me from opening them.
Hi Sean, do you use MicroStation CONNECT too or only AECOsim? Just curious if it's reproducible in both - I'd imagine it would be.
Either way it's probably worth filing an SR.
Only AECOsim SS6 Steve. Once I work out what the issue is I'll log an SR, but will check to see if it still does the same in Open Buildings and MS Connect.
