PCS v8i Help drawing Window Swing

I need to draw in pcs a "V" to show the swing of the window.

I must create a componet so I can attach a part to make it dashed

  • I'm not sure about the "v" aspect, but you can assign a part to a PCS solid:

    - Double-click on the applicable solid and switch to the Attributes tab.
    - Right-click and choose New
    - For families, use the attribute _TF_PARTFAMNAME and type in the appropriate family name
    - For parts, use the attribute _TF_PARTNAME and type in the appropriate part name

  • No I need d to create a "v" that shows up in the plan and rendering

    I have to place two lines or once line string from on hte sash

    Top left to middle right to bottom left

    I can do this but I could not attach a part.  I found I had to add the part desription in the attributes manually.

     MANUALLY seems a little backwards for 2009
