Hi All,
I find that the active linestyle dialog within the Home ribbon is very slow to respond. The drop-downs for the line weights or colour etc.in comparison are much faster. Any reason for this? Anyone else experincing the same... could it be that 'out of the box' AECOsim (UK dataset) has about a million linestyles included?
Also visually the GUI looks half finished. Why does it not say 'ByLevel' at the top like it always did? Instead it shows a line at the top... really looks confusing and not helpful in any way.
See V8i below:
Or is this something I have messed up in my setup...
btw we do not work on a single wide display but rather two 19 inch displays.
Hi Joey,
Is it only the first time you open the drop-down list or every time? For me that first instance is a bit slower, closely followed by Color and with Weight being fast. But each instance thereafter seems fairly normal.
Also, this is what I see in Update 4 using the delivered UK dataset:
Semi-related to this and something I forgot to mention was that sometimes the change attributes dialog does not graphically show the ByLevel linestyle properly at the top of the drop-down list. I've noticed this several times since using CE in the last couple of weeks but I cannot consistently replicate it. This definitely feels like a bug.
AECOsim SS6 + CONNECT U4, Windows 7 Pro, 64Bit, Intel Xeon E3-1275 v5 @ 3.6GHz, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro P1000
Huh... I realize it's intermittent for but I am not seeing it at the moment:
So maybe it is a resolution/display issue of some kind. If you can find any pattern or some way of replicating it's worthwhile reporting it to support via a Service Request.
