Can't modiy Door Architrave width and door symbols are incorrect

2 Door problems:

1. I am having issues modify the Door Architrave Width, the purpose of this is to push the door frame out so we can take a proper dimension for the door rough opening.

2. How can we fix the door symbol and mirror it?

Yes, this is a long standing problem. The way the OOTB BuildingTemplate_UK door cells have been defined is based on an extremely outmoded way of starting with the door leaf size and working outwards. It also does not list the rough / structural opening dimension, which is the key dimension that comes up with any coordination exercise. Also, it calculates the Rough Opening Offset from the inside face of the jamb/door leaf which might have been expedient for the PCS author, but a bit silly for anyone else.

There are moves to update the dataset content to use the new Constraints / Parametric Solid tools now available in Mstn CE. The prerequisites are almost all there (Perforators, Named Presentations, Expressions in Item Types etc) in Tech Preview form.

The Constraints solving tools should allow some badly needed bi-directional solving. For doors, you either start or define with a structural / rough opening (usually based on your Mauerwerk/Blockwork module) and this would propgate to the door leaf size depending on the manufacturer's jamb etc detail. Or, you would start with your required clear width dimension (driven my means of escape, equipment access, wheelchair, ironmongery etc requirements) which would then propagate to the structural/rough opening dimension.

To control the propagation, I think that there needs to be a means to 'lock' selected parameters. Not sure when the Item Types guy will get around to including this. Mentioned during the Mstn CE beta 3+ years ago.
